Barbershop Music in the Gazebo - May 2009

Last Wednesday we had a fun performance in the Gazebo downtown.  It was a bit chilly, but the summer flowers were just starting to look beautiful, and it really was a charming setting for a late spring concert.  Our family and friends brought their lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy our program of barbershop and patriotic songs.
  • You're As Welcome As the Flowers in May
  • In the Good Old Summertime
  • Beautiful Dreamer
  • M-O-T-H-E-R
  • Let Me Call You Sweetheart
  • I Love You Truly
  • You're a Grand Old Flag
With the highway and train tracks close by we had a lot of noise with loud motorcycles and trains passing by.  Luckily it seemed that they always came and went between songs.

Memorial Day Community Observance - May 25, 2009

The Uinta County Veterans Board must have liked our contribution to last year's Memorial Day Observance, because they asked us back this year.  Unfortunately I was out of town with my family, so I can't really comment on the event.  Here's a photo of the program.
