1. Singer - All members of the community, high school age and older, are invited to sing in the Evanston Civic Chorus, regardless of prior experience. Auditions are not required.
All singers must register each session and provide contact information. The registration link will be available at the top of this page several weeks before the session starts. The online registration form is short and simple. If you have questions about the registration process, please use the email below.
The ECC usually has a fall session and a spring session followed by a summer break. The Chorus sometimes performs during the summer, but rehearsals are limited.
Member Dues are collected before each session to help pay for music, the director, the accompanist, marketing, and other expenses. Members may choose to pay for the entire year in the fall to receive a discount.
- Each fall or spring session - $25 Adults; $20 Students
- Both fall and spring sessions paid in the fall - $45 Adults; $35 Students
- Make checks payable to Evanston Civic Orchestra and Chorus or pay in cash.
- Pay by credit card at the ECOC online store.

All members and supporters are invited to show appreciation for the value they receive from the Evanston Civic Orchestra and Chorus, and their interest in helping the organization be sustainable, by donating or becoming a sponsor.
Donations and Sponsorships paid directly to Evanston Civic Orchestra and Chorus by check or cash, or through our online store linked above are not eligible for potential tax purposes. When a receipt is desired for potential tax purposes, payments must be made by check to Uinta BOCES #1 Foundation, the umbrella 501(c)(3) non-profit organization over the Evanston Civic Orchestra and Chorus. Talk to an ECOC Board member to make arrangements.
Donations to ECOC: General donations are very much appreciated, in any amount. Please consider adding $5, $10, or more to your dues payment at registration. Donations of any amount are welcome at any time. Thank you!
Donations to the ECOC Youth Scholarship Fund: To support our high school youth who have actively pursued their musical education and given musical service in the ECOC and community, consider donating directly to this scholarship fund. A $500 scholarship will be awarded to one qualified high school senior each spring. Donors who contribute $50 or more to this fund will be recognized in the concert programs.
